Of course the day that the power decides to go out in my neighborhood is also the hottest day of the year.

Ok, it’s fairly early on in the year but it’s also the hottest day since summer last year. To make matters worse I spent most of the day out shopping so unlike most other days of my holidays the aircon had been off for most of the day. Well done me.

I had no option but to head to the beach to cool down. Something I haven’t done for many, many years. The good-ole-days saw me living without the luxury of air conditioning and I spent a lot more summer afternoons at the beach.

Those afternoons were nice but aircon is nicer.
